A well-renowned car dealership, with sites across the country and wider, are looking for an experienced individual, from a face-to-face or telephone-based, business development background. This is a fantastic opportunity to join them in their peak, with so many changes and masses amount of growth, it’s a great way to push your Automotive career further!

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Being approachable to potential new customers visiting or calling the showroom.
  • Identifying the most suitable option for customers’ needs to find the perfect new vehicle.
  • Gaining knowledge of available vehicles at the showroom prior to appointments.
  • Upselling any additional products or services offered by the dealership.
  • Handling the part-exchange of customers’ vehicles.
  • Offering finance options where suited to customers’ needs and producing these quotes.

Skills required for the role:

  • Previous sales experience – retail, face-to-face, telephone-based etc.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive industry would be beneficial but not essential.
  • A target-driven individual with the drive to want to hit the top.

In return for the above, you will receive a basic salary of £15,000 per annum and a realistic OTE of £50,000 per year! This role will give you the opportunity to further development your experience within the sector and open up even further windows in the future, such as growing in a Managerial position. My client offers a total of 31 days holiday, increasing with length of service, to ensure that where bank holidays are worked, you aren’t missing out on annual leave. In addition, you receive a “top up bonus” on your annual leave days to cover any commission you would have made!
